Overview
Dr's. Grant & Conger Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant in Dalton, GA to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
This is a full-time position with Benefits. Hours : M-Th 8-5 and Fri 8-2. The ideal Dental Assistant is preferred to have dental assisting experience but will consider a recent graduate from a formal dental assisting program with their X-ray license for the state of GA.
Responsibilities
The following dental hygiene assisting duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned :
Distributes and collects completed documentation from patient including medical history.Sets up and breaks down treatment rooms, cleans & sterilizes treatment room.
Sterilize & maintain equipment & instruments. Upholds office policy including HIPAA & OSHAGreets and escorts patients into operatories and escorts them out.
Performs assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning & maintenance duties.Reviews medical history and inputs into CPS. Asks initial consult questions from patient, records information and takes intra-oral pictures for doctor.
Fills out exam notes as dictated by doctor.Ability to take clinically appropriate xrays.Obtain and review needed consent for patient treatment.

Qualifications
Required Skills :
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of Dental Assisting Program is Required
