CAD/CAM Manufacturing Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and optimize milling and printing cases according to specifications.
  • Prioritize production schedules to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Operate and monitor milling machines and 3D printers to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on milled cases to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain and clean milling machines and 3D printers to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Follow doctors' preferences and laboratory scripts meticulously to meet specific patient needs and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programs.
  • Experience operating milling machines and 3D printers in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience in a dental or medical manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
