We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. Must have 1 years of experience in the orthodontic field. The ideal candidate will assist orthodontists in providing care to patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient orthodontic practice.
**Responsibilities:**
- Taking records such as X-rays, digital scans, and photographs.
- Removing and replacing wires and Invisalign care.
- Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and treatments
- Sterilization
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Handle orthodontic instruments and equipment with care
**Experience:**
- Knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology
- Familiarity Cloud 9 software is a plus
- Ability to follow infection control protocols effectively
