Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist during procedures and ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
- Take dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials, equipment, and supplies
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Provide support to front office staff as needed
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- X-ray certification required
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and medical terminology
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients' needs
