OUR POSITION
We are expanding our network of hygienists by inviting you to join our per diem workforce. You will be given the opportunity to join our network of professional hygienists that we contact for coverage (short-term, by day or long-term) on an as-needed basis. You decide when you are available to work!
We are a PPO and FFS practice environment, offering state of the art technology and premium care for our patients:

Compensation: $45-55/HR
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Active CPR Certification
- Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
- Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Dental Hygienist, you will clean teeth and examine patient oral areas, head and neck for signs of oral disease. You will also record and review patient medical histories. Additional responsibilities and requirements of the Dental Hygienist include:
- Evaluates overall oral health, examining oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sores, recessed & bleeding gums, and oral lesions
- Documents dental history or chief complaint; records and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to dental staff, as appropriate; documents lab procedures and ensures follow up on results
- Follows through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist. Procedures may include: Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planing, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, and Application of Protective Sealants
- Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments during treatment of patients
