Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Periodontist to join our team. As a Periodontist, you will specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases. You will work closely with patients to provide comprehensive periodontal care and maintain optimal oral health.
Duties:
- Perform thorough periodontal examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat various periodontal conditions, including gum disease and oral inflammation
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
- Perform surgical procedures such as gum grafting, crown lengthening, and dental implant placement
- Administer local anesthesia and sedation as necessary for patient comfort
- Utilize advanced dental technology and equipment for accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation of patient treatments and progress
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice as a Periodontist
- Completion of an accredited Periodontology residency program
- Proficient in using dental software systems for medical documentation (e.g., Epic)
- Familiarity with medical imaging software for diagnostic purposes
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is preferred
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
- Ability to assess patient conditions and vital signs accurately
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
