What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern & Practicum position at Denton County MHMR Center?
- Graduate-level counseling students add tremendous value to our Center while receiving direct experience with the individuals we serve.
- We offer practicums in nursing, psychology and social work. We allow students to observe professionals in their field at work and hone in on interpersonal skills while putting studied theories to work in a professional setting.
All practicum and intern students must submit an application with Denton County MHMR Center.
We currently partner with the following schools:
- Florida State University
- North Texas Central College - Gainesville
- Tarleton State University
- Texas Christian University
- Texas Women's University
- University of North Texas
