As a key member of the Benefits team, you will use detailed analysis and critical thinking skills to manage data and create process efficiencies; and develop and implement strategies with the focus on enhancing the employee experience. Your ability to effectively manage relationships both internally and externally will be key to your success.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides analytical and technical support to the benefits function
- Works collaboratively on implementation of evolving benefits strategy
- Lead the evaluation and analysis of data in support of strategic benefit initiatives
- Support the maintenance and testing of benefits enrollment system functionality
- Track and complete regular reconciliations and audits monitoring compliance and accuracy

Support the daily administration of health and welfare and retirement programs to ensure efficiency and compliance. This includes, but not limited to:
- Supervise and monitor ongoing Leave of Absence processes including coordination with payroll
- Serve as day-to-day contact for third party benefit vendors
- Serve as project manager for Annual Open Enrollment system set up with third party administrator
- Maintain required plan documentation, summaries and communication materials on the BenefitsPlus website
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required Federal and State government filings and assists with compliance with regulations such as Healthy San Francisco, PCORI, etc.
Skills:
- Self-starter/independent contributor
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Possess the ability to prioritize and multitask without constant direction
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong MS Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- 4-6 years’ experience in a similar position
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with a benefits admin system, Workday and/or payroll a plus
- Experience with a matrixed organization a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
