Job Description


The Americas HRIS Manager will be a key member of the People Services team assisting with tasks associated with the centralized dentsu Americas People Services function. The HRIS Manager will work under the direction of the Americas People Services Lead to ensure the data integrity of dentsu Americas HR systems and provide company-wide corporate and ad-hoc HR reporting. The HRIS Manager will assist in managing and optimizing ongoing business processes, implementing new projects, and proposing areas for improvement. This position ensures accurate best practice business process/workflows and other system dependencies are in place within Workday to support the administrators of compensation programs, annual performance reviews, payroll, and reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage execution of Americas Workday change requests
  • Partner with functional owners to translate business requirements into detailed system specifications
  • Collaborate with Global Workday Services team to develop and execute plans for system enhancements based upon business requirements – including build testing and go live plans/support (training, communications, change management).
  • Serve as primary owner of principles around organizational and position management and provide insight and support to assist the broader HR team with keeping this current as the business evolves and transforms
  • Manage the regional deployment of global HR programs and process enabled by Workday technology (performance management, merit, etc)
  • Assist in administering the Workday HRIS system by ensuring confidential and appropriate security and access are in place, maintaining foundational information and managing data integration
  • Identify risks or opportunities and recommend changes to processes which improve the delivery of HR services to the organization.
  • Perform regular HR data audits and analysis
  • Coordinate with corporate staff on issues of system maintenance and management
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of employee talent data in Workday, including job profiles and individual employee data
  • Test new system upgrades and new releases to ensure system stability
  • Provide HR systems training to other employees as needed
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner, and provide proactive support of department objectives
  • Ensure that HR data is accurate, secure, and confidential
  • Ensure that HR systems are stable and work as designed

Qualifications


Professional Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years Workday HCM experience (currently certified)
  • Minimum of 2 years in a manager or team lead position
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Previous experience working with human resource information systems required, including workforce administration and compensation practices

  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment
