Job Description
The Resource Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting with managing resource supply and demand across multiple projects, teams, skills, and roles. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and the ability to effectively multi-task are critical skills for success. The Resource Coordinator provides timely, accurate, value-added reporting to leadership and project teams and works closely with Resource Managers to analyze the data and effectively manage supply and demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of data for resource capacity in workforce management tool
- Assist in planning and process for all assignments and extensions of resources based on capacity and demand needs
- Assist in reviewing capacity across capability areas on an ongoing basis, and proactively work to re-balance professionals who are above / below utilization targets
- Collaborate with Resource Manager to review trending on quality metrics for management associated with capacity
- Support processes and tools that allow for reconciliation amongst disparate business unit, HR, and finance resource-related data sets, driving regular clean-up activities
- Capture action items and meeting notes on weekly/bi-weekly Resource Management calls with leadership teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong functional expertise that includes internet and direct sourcing, building pipelines, analyzing metrics, simplifying processes and measuring quality of hires
- Viewed as a trusted advisor with a successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized to effectively work multiple staffing requests simultaneously and accurately track demand status in workforce management systems
- Highly motivated self-starter, responsible, and accountable
