Under minimal supervision, the person in this role is responsible for leading a range of strategic internal and external communications campaigns. They develop strategies and execute initiatives to achieve the vision, mission and true north goals as well as inform, engage and inspire staff to build a positive culture at Denver Health. The position holder coordinates a cohesive and integrated communication strategy, in collaboration with key stakeholders. In addition, the position leads execution of agreed plans, and creates standard work and best practice.
Central to the role is the ability to formulate strategies and tactics, compile information, analyze data and use sound judgment to make decisions that both promote and build the reputation of Denver Health. The role requires the individual to exercise individual judgment in providing expert advice on communications to senior level managers that will ultimately contribute to the success of the organization. The position holder will identify, collaborate with and bring together experts and decision-makers to build content as needed. The position holder will act as a team player and take on other communications and media duties as assigned by the communications director.
The position is responsible for various communications needs for the organization with a heavy emphasis on employee/human relations. The role includes but is not limited to leadership and departmental updates that impact employees and the organization; staff recognition campaigns and events as well as key internal initiatives such as diversity, equity and inclusion. It will require research and strategy to identify key insights and assess best practices to develop the internal communications plan. The Administrator is required to work with executive and director level colleagues within the marketing communications team and other departments, including Human Resources, to develop and execute the strategies and plans. The position holder will use independent judgment to make decisions that balance multiple objectives and considerations to create output that achieves goals, delivered on time and within budget. The role requires the individual to provide expert advice on marketing communications to senior-level internal management that will ultimately contribute to the success of the organization. The individual acts as a team member, and will take on other marketing, communications and media duties as assigned by the Director of PR and Communications or Chief of Marketing Communications. The position holder will measure the performance of internal communications by using regular metrics and research. The position holder must have a technical knowledge of internal communications platforms, a strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate and influence to gain buy-in to their recommendations.

Midpoint: 87,400.00
Maximum: 104,900.00
