Under the direct supervision of the Data Management, Research, and Special Projects Supervisor, Senior Oil and Gas Engineer (Supervisor), the Research Data Analyst I (RDA I) will function as a Data Management, Research and Special Projects Analyst in the Division’s Headquarters Office. The incumbent will perform basic database programming and analytical work, perform information research from current and legacy databases, conduct data analytics and forensics, data profiling, pattern recognition, and data forecasting, and develop data reports. The incumbent will use the enterprise Microsoft SQL Server suite to query and update databases using T-SQL, develop and maintain public web-based data dashboards, and develop data standards in accordance with the Division’s Data Governance Plan.
