The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation is recruiting a Permanent Full-time Information Technology Specialist II position within the Information Technology Services Division. This position is to be located at the department’s Sacramento office. This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies in this position within the next 180 days.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST
This position is subject to Title 10, § 250.30 of the California Code of Regulations, the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation’s Conflict of Interest Regulations, the incumbent is required to submit a Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700) within 30 days of assuming office, annually by April 1st and within 30 days of leaving office.

Desirable Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL Server, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework, with strong experience in C#.NET and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Expertise in client-side technologies including JavaScript, MVC, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment processes
- Experience in ServiceNow development and administration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work cohesively within a team environment, and willingness to mentor junior team members
- Capacity to perform under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Adaptability to manage changing priorities and effectively juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
