The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is hiring a Lodging Manager (Program Assistant Supervisor-Advanced). This position is located at Volk Field Air base or Camp Douglas.
Work hours are: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Volk Field is one of only four Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Centers in the nation, and the only one that does not share its airfield with a civilian airport. The Training Center Mission is to provide a year-round integrated training environment (airspace, facilities, equipment) for units to enhance their combat capabilities and readiness.
Under general supervision of the Services Superintendent, this position will provide a wide variety of complex administrative and program coordination, overseeing budgeting and invoicing, monitoring services facilities utilization and upkeep, utilizing computer programs, while supervising the Office Operations Associate, Custodial Supervisor, and Office Associate. In the absence of the Services Superintendent this position is responsible for the lodging operations and the authority to exercise a wide range of decision-making control; to include, but not limited to scheduling, backup support for daily lodging operations, timesheet entries and worker’s compensation reporting. Duties include scheduling and prioritizing office activities, developing, revising and improving administrative and operating policies and procedures, coordinating with suppliers/vendors, evaluating all work production, inspecting facilities, ensuring a safe work environment, assessing the need for equipment supplies and materials, preparing invoices, assisting with fiscal year budget, working with Master Cooperative Agreements and operations and maintenance accounts, hiring, recommending disciplining, termination, performance evaluations. Serves as a lead administrator on the Lodging Computer Program and provides training to staff on the software.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
