DPI Staffing is recruiting for certified flaggers in the Salem and surrounding areas. Must have a current flagger card and own equipment (reflective gear, stop/slow paddle and ODOT approved two-way radio). Pay starts at $17.50 an hour

YOU MUST HAVE A FLAGGER CERTIFICATION CARD ALREADY.

Job Summary: In this role you will take on duties such as traffic control while communicating with the team to ensure a safe work environment. 

Schedule: 

  • Work Hours: Will vary and flexibility is important 

  • Many are on call and as needed. 

Compensation: 

  • $17.50 an hour

Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

  • Reliable transportation is necessary 

  • Using hand signals and direction signs to direct traffic around road construction sites.

  • Communicating with other flaggers using hand-held radios to direct two-way traffic onto a single lane.

  • Informing the construction crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety.

  • Standing is a must during the shift.

  • **Some positions require the capability to operate and AFAD and a Pilot Car.
