Description
DEPCOM Power is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. The candidate selected for this role will have experience managing large EPC projects and will direct and coordinate utility scale solar photovoltaic projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in the renewables industry space.
This role can be fully remote, but will require travel up to 50% to project sites and/or project offices as necessary.

What You Will Do
- Partner with the Project Controls team to control budgets through forecasting with contingency modifications or risk identification updates

Manage project schedules with the Scheduling team to meet critical deadlines

Oversee prime contract compliance & progress reporting

Proactively manage project scope, identify critical variables and devise contingency plans

Provide timely project reporting to internal teams and external customers

Ensure contract compliance by assisting the Project, Engineering & Construction teams to meet client expectations

Find strategic opportunities to help customers and drive long-term mutually beneficial relationships
- Ensure site is following environmental and local codes and regulations
- Experience managing EPC large projects
- Experience with cost estimating, scheduling and customer interfacing
- Understanding of prime contract and subcontract language
- Experience managing renewable energy EPC projects
- Experience in Solar, Wind, BESS, conventional power or industrial projects
- Electrical and/or Heavy Civil Engineering background
