Internal Job Title: Facility Specialist
Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt
Reports to: Director, Facilities & Plant Management
Location: Houston, TX

Position Description:
The Facility and Maintenance Worker will coordinate and provide equipment and facility set-up for meetings, conferences, and special events; provide customer service to building patrons; monitor facility usage and ensure conformance with policies and procedures; perform facility maintenance and cleaning; and perform related work.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year experience in basic building maintenance.
- One year experience with audio video equipment and maintenance.
- Must have valid Texas driver license.
- Knowledge of Facility Safety and Maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of area vendors and their products and/or services.
- Understanding of all systems including HVAC, Energy Management System, A/V, elevator, fire alarm and sprinkler system, cooling towers and security system.
- Adept at staying organized while executing multiple projects.
- Ability to interact with professionals and staff from a variety of disciplines with a service orientation.
- Basic Microsoft Outlook and Word skills.
- Environment: Indoor and Outdoor
- Range of Schedule: Mon – Fri, 5:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Travel: Local (Drives DePelchin vehicles for DePelchin business)
