COVID-19 Tester

The COVID-19 Tester performs Nasopharyngeal/NARES swab to all staff.  This role is key to ensuring that the on-site location is a safe and healthy environment for all individuals.

Essential Functions:

• Collect COVID-19 nasal specimens 
• Conduct temperature screenings
• Ensure adequate labeling of the specimens and proper transportation after completing the collection
• Ask health related questions and follow structured screening protocol
• Setting up and preparing testing location 
• Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents
• Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policies
• Maintain HIPAA standards 
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision 
• Great communication skills 
• Incredible organizational skills; superb attention to detail
• The ability to multi-task and shuffle priorities under time constraints
• Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365

Education and Experience:

• H.S. diploma or equivalent 
• Customer service experience, required 
• Two years of healthcare experience, preferred 
• COVID-19 knowledge, preferred 
• Ability to wear protective equipment (PPE: mask, gloves, goggles, disposable gowns)
• Willing, if needed, to be tested for COVID-19
• Bilingual Spanish, preferred 
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license   
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
