What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish Bilingual Property Supervisor position at Deployed Services, LLC?
Summary:
The Property Supervisor will ensure that the care and services for residents are being met, and all reports are completed for forwarding to the leadership team. This position will make sure all staff is on duty and accounted for as well as conduct daily shift musters in conjunction with leadership. The Supervisor may serve as the acting Manager as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with other department workers from day to day
- Verbally explain day to day operation to staff
- Provide safety of clients in team’s care
- Meet with team and provide updates and important information
- Update Site Managers of incidents and needs
- Responsible for overseeing the custody of any contraband encountered during intake
- Must follow and enforce the appropriate procedure for the type of contraband encountered
- Maintain a filing system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed
- Understand and adhere to the safety rules and requirements per the site
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to document processes and perform record keeping
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, tolerance, and kindness
- Prioritize and organize responsibilities and duties efficiently
- Work expertly either independently or as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Education and Experience:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent. Associates degree, preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
- Demonstrate the ability to respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics
- Demonstrate the ability to always maintain emotional control and professional composure
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, be prepared to demonstrate proficiency
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, a background check, and provide proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 after accepting a conditional offer of employment
