Summary/Objective
The Scanning Technician is responsible for assisting the production team with all general duties that include, but are not limited to the responsibilities and duties listed below.
Essential Functions

1.Scan and upload all exhibits and job-related documents to repository for reporter and client use.
2.Archive all CD’s/DVD’s and USB’s received as exhibits by saving data to the company server.
3.Extract individual exhibits from complete scan file, name accordingly and ensure that files are uploaded correctly.
4.Perform data entry by entering completed production steps into company database.
5.Verify accuracy of job instructions, including job number, exhibits included, witness/case name, priority status and clarity of special instructions.
6.Make appropriate notes in company database concerning what was returned, who will get original, and how it was shipped/when it will be shipped out.
7.Check and confirm all warning notes in company database.
8.Print, tab and assemble exhibits and transcripts and prepare for shipping.
9.Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required.

Supervisory Responsibility
The Scanning Temp role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role, however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Temporary, Part-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

No travel is expected for this position.
