ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER/JMH
EXEMPT FULL-TIME
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
SALARY RANGE: $39,000 – $64,000
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge of the rules, regulations and procedures governing parking facility operations.
2. Knowledge of basic personnel practices and procedures.
3. Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.
4. Ability to supervise subordinates in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.
5. Ability to maintain simple records and prepares reports.
6. Knowledge of customer service tools and techniques.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish.
9. Ability to lift and move weights of 15 pounds or more.
10. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record for the past 3 years.
11. Must have received a satisfactory rating of 80% or above on your last performance review and have remain in good standing (no disciplinary action in the last 6 months).
DUTIES:
1. Ensures the safety, security and proper up-keep of assigned facilities by utilizing scheduled inspections, no-notice walk-through inspections and other established procedures.
2. Monitors actions and performances of assigned and contract employees to ensure compliance. Take necessary actions to correct performance and document accordingly.
3. Manages and inspects facilities revenue equipment.
4. Assures that the needs of the customer are being met.
5. Reviews daily reports prepared by personnel assigned to the facility.
6. Coordinates all operational requirements pertaining to a facility (maintenance, security and daily requirements.)
7. Ensures the efficient operation of all equipment in garage or lot to which assigned
8. Monitors and orders the necessary supplies and materials needed for the facility
9. Prepares annual performance reviews for all employees in their assigned facilities
10. Lends assistance and supervises facilities personnel as required
11. Reviews revenue trend reports to ensure accuracy and to detect possible theft or inappropriate transactions
12. Ensures proper training of employees
13. Provides counseling to subordinates
14. Prepares facilities monthly reports
15. Responds to customer complaints and inquiries
16. Requisitions equipment and supplies.
17. Receives and responds to complaints from the public regarding parking.
18. Operates a motor vehicle as needed.
19. Performs other duties as required.
