International Business Director

For our office in Amsterdam we are looking for an International Business Director who enjoys being the most-called contact for some of the best brands worldwide such as Philips, Diageo, smart, Triumph to name a few. 

As a Business Director, you work with many of our key accounts in your day to day. Therefore, extensive experience in (digital) advertising is required for this role, including the “battle scars” that come with it! Previous experience with a multi-market set up as well as managing international accounts at c-level is also a must.

For this role, we’re looking for somebody who is fluent in English. 

Responsibilities

• Own the relations at c-level internally at DEPT® and across our creative international portfolio: build good relationships with our accounts and keep them happy;
• Manage our business plans and P&L for our international portfolio. 
• Lead and manage a team of (at least) 5 Account managers.
• A strategic business partner that can inspire our customers (and internal teams) with the endless possibilities we can offer them to grow their business;
• Determine together with our clients what kind of solution best suits their business;
• Take the lead in sales, pitches and developing strategies to grow our business.

You:

• You have at least 10 years of experience, and you are currently a senior Account Director or a Business Director at a creative (digital) agency, and you are ready for the next step in your career;
• You have an impressive portfolio of international clients and work that you can proudly show as experience. 
• You balance client & team happiness with business strategy in a seamless way. 
• Have completed higher professional education / university education;
• Can switch from serious to play in the blink of an eye;
• Have an affinity with social media, advertising and technology;
• Have mastered the English language and have excellent communication skills.
