JOB PURPOSE
DEPT® is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Dublin team to help successfully transform our clients’ dream designs into well-functioning platforms.
As a Project Manager, you will work on a variety of large digital projects for high profile B2B and B2C brands, these applications are usually highly visible and will likely play key roles in digital infrastructures or campaigns. In general the work you would be doing is based around large scale web application development, usually centred around transformation / change management programs.
Our Project Management team sits right in the middle between tech teams and our clients, we need a calm persona who understands a client’s frustrations while managing their expectations.
You will work in a vibrant environment with many experienced team members, you’ll have support and guidance to help you grow whether that be from a mentor / buddy or training course. We love motivated people who strive to be good at what they do.
We have a very flexible working environment, realistically you can be based anywhere in Ireland to do this role.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Delivery of key Digital Projects
- Scoping project requirements and preparing budgets
- Development of support documentation including risk logs and requirement specifications
- Management of stakeholders and their expectations during the project life cycle
- Maximising client satisfaction with the project outcomes
- Working in a collaborative environment within the business and with client stakeholders
- Establishing and using “best web practices” to ensure the delivery of high quality projects
- Highlighting potential project risks and acting proactively to resolve issues
- Being an active member of the project team, supporting colleagues and peers to help achieve overall digital goals
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 4 years proven work experience as a Project Manager building things like corporate websites, apps, online account management and other online systems. Additional previous project management and/or other digital experience is a plus.
- Highly organised and motivated project manager with an aptitude for understanding and solving problems
- A positive outlook and strong interpersonal relationship building skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-discipline teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects under challenging and pressurised scenarios
- A hands-on project manager who can effectively suggest, drive and challenge new ideas
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability with a strong ‘customer oriented’ ethos
- Vendor management experience would be a plus
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Understanding and experience of agile methodologies
