Description
This role also serves as a consultant for managers within the organization, advising of current budgetary information and working with managers to create a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization
- Maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems.
- Supervise receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, sales tax reporting, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
- Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization.
- Responsible for filing of sales tax forms.
- All other work assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree accounting or finance preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Good organization skills;
- Self-motivated, ability to work in a deadline driven environment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Automotive experience preferred but not required;
- Detail oriented.
