What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security position at Deringers?
At Deringers, Hundreds of people come and go through our doors each night to have fun, drink, and hangout. We’re looking for a highly competent security officer to join our team to monitor the bar and protect our valued staff and guests. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard. They will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or inappropriate behavior, and prevention of theft or vandalism. You must be available to work nights and weekends.
Objectives of this Role
- Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, and monitoring
- Be visible and observant at all times, greeting staff and guests in a courteous and attentive manner
- Respond immediately for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately
- Collaborate with other security officers for effective protection and coverage
Job Type: Part-time
