Job Title: Bookkeeper
General Summary
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording the daily financial transactions of the business as well as assisting the Controller and other department managers as needed. Accounts Payable will be the primary focus but all areas of accounting will be involved including some aspects of payroll(depending on experience). The position reports directly to the Controller.
The position is Monday - Friday first shift 8:30am-5:00pm. The Company pays 80% of health, vision, dental, and LTD as well as matching for 401K. We offer 17 PTO days per year and provide 9 paid holidays.
Specific Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Invoice processing and disbursements
- RMA's and credits
- Credit card statement reconciliation
- Expense reports, petty cash, 1099s
Accounts Receivable
- Invoicing and pro formas
- Bank deposits and cash posting
- Aging
- Customer statements and account reconciliation
General Ledger
- Journal entries
- Account reconciliations
- Variance analysis
Payroll
- Maintain time sheets, adjust time punches, PTO requests
Administrative
- Order non-stock items
- Miscellaneous office duties
Experience/Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience as Bookkeeper or similar
- Must be proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Experience in manufacturing/inventory preferred
