Merger and Acquisition Analyst

• Assist in mergers and acquisitions diligence and analysis

• Prepare Quality of Earnings analyses which require cash to accrual conversion, financial statement trend analysis, determination of one-time expenses vs. recurring expenses and determination of fixed & variable costs.

• Prepare billing data analyses on various companies which require data scrubbing and mapping.

• Responsible to prepare daily, weekly, monthly treasury and cash analysis reports for all bank accounts.

• Prepare other ad hoc analysis as needed.

• Takes initiative to improve and automate processes (reduce cycle time) in conjunction with the data warehouse team.

• Interest in analytic systems and programs to be able to create automated reports from systems and tools.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Experience:

• The incumbent should be highly motivated, willing to take over responsibilities and confident in interacting across all hierarchy levels including senior management. Strong accounting, analysis and healthcare experience required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, business or analytical field.

• Healthcare experience in a high transaction multi-site healthcare services environment preferred.

• A minimum of 3-4 years of prior accounting and analyst experience.

• Ability to navigate QuickBooks and Practice Management systems.

• Ability to think analytically and to provide in-depth analysis and recommendations using critical thinking and sound judgment.

• Advanced Excel skills are required and will be tested by Power Users. Candidates should be extremely specific about these skills. Experience with Microsoft NAV, Business Central, QuickBooks, Jet, SQL or other database tools is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.

• Self-starter who works with enthusiasm to manage responsibilities with a sense of urgency.
