Position Summary
The Admissions Counselor helps identify target student groups to achieve recruitment objectives, counsel potential students and their parents about DeSales University and recruit qualified students through marketing and promotion of the University. In addition to developing and implementing recruitment strategies, the counselor will participate in on-and-off campus events in support of achieving enrollment goals. Involves evening and weekend job commitments and at least 50% travel.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree required
- Strong organization skills and computer systems proficiency
- Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to communicate verbally in face-to-face interactions with individuals and large groups
- Valid driver's license and an excellent driving record
- Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
- Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
