Accounting Analyst

We are seeking an individual eager to dive into accounting and financial analysis for several small to medium-sized businesses under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for accounting and finance, excellent ability in Excel and systems and strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

· Work collaboratively with CFO

· Utilize math and accounting skills to analyze key financial data

· Set up monthly sales reports using Excel/ERP integration for ease of updating

· Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding

· Identify key revenue trends by properly categorizing customers and products to identify actionable insights to grow the business

· Present financial reports and forecasts to decision makers within the organization

· Assist with setting up a 5-year rolling budget/forecast using Excel/ERP integration for ease of updating actual data

· Assist with analysis of budget to actual and updating the rolling forecast on a monthly basis

· Research current industry trends and assist with pricing of products and identify areas for growth

· Run product go/no go analysis based on ROI for existing products with declining sales and potential products

· Set up models to estimate ROI and other key metrics for marketing campaigns

Qualifications

· Master's degree in accounting, finance, business or related fields preferred

· 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

· Critical math skills and a proven ability with difficult calculations

· Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent Excel skills

· NetSuite experience preferred

· Experience using Excel/ERP integration tools

· Ability to learn industry-related regulations quickly and utilize information in written reports

· Strong critical thinking skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
