We're looking for animal lovers to join our team. If you're looking to grow with the company or to utilize us as a stepping stone for your other passions (such as starting a business, being in the animal field or going to school) - we're happy to have you!
Are you a self-starter? Positive? Don't mind cleaning? This is the job for you! Working with Deschutes Pet Lodge you will be playing with dogs outside, cleaning rooms, exercise yards (you will be dealing with poop!) and having a good time. Duties include handling of dogs/cats, cleaning of rooms, facility maintenance, personal playtimes with dogs/cats, overseeing groups of dogs in play, recognizing various types of animal behaviors and following facility protocols and safety practices.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Stand/walk for several hours.
- Work in all types of weather outdoors.
Experience handling animals and customer service experience preferred.
Must be able to work between the hours of 7am-6pm.
Full-Time or Part-Time. Weekends and holidays!
Shifts will be either: 6hrs, 4hrs or 10hrs
- 7am-1pm
- 2pm-6pm
- 7am-6pm
Must have impeccable attendance record and reliable transportation.
