Medical Receptionist
Job Posting for Medical Receptionist at Desert Institute of Sports Medicine
- Greet patients and visitors
- Schedule patient appointments
- Verify Insurance information
- Keep patients' records accurately filed, updated, and organized
- Complete and submit insurance forms
- Work on Pre-authorizations
- Handle phone calls, mail, and e-mail
- Maintain a HIPPAA compliant working environment
- Medical office environment that may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances
- Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs
