Warehouse Worker

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse & Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment.

We are looking for a full time Warehouse & Maintenance Worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and checking in orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or trailers
• Handling heavy lifting of packages and materials
• Managing shipping and receiving processes
• Packaging items for shipment. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock and products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Keep a clean and safe working environment. This includes the warehouse, showroom, and other areas in the building.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• Current forklift experience. Proficiency with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
• High school degree
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
