Position Summary

Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team. As an Order Picker, you will Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts specific to jobs, process warehouse parts into inventory, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts, steel and panel enclosures for specific to jobs
Update the Inventory Control System and data entry
Process warehouse parts into inventory with both consigned and non-consigned parts
Perform cycle counts
Learn how to perform the shortage report, warehouse transfers, aftermarket and drives.
Train and learn how to use the stand-up, sit down forklifts and the Big Joe
Deliver parts to production line(s) as directed
Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient work area
Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required
Identify and assist in process improvement measures

Education | Experience

High school education or equivalent (required)
Forklift driving experience - internal certification provided (preferred)
Prior RF Scanner experience (preferred)
ERP experience (preferred)

Abilities | Skills

Good math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills
High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Lifting up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance)
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours per day
