Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience with detailed installation schedules a big plus.
  • Ability to set up milestone schedule and import contractor provided schedule to develop a overall project schedule is required.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • must be comfortable working with customer and vendors to obtain the required schedule information.
  • Manufacturing background a plus.
  • Preferred ability to travel locally and out of town.
  • Preferred willingness to do long term (6-18 months) out of town travel with trips home every other week.

Position Duties:

  • Develop a preliminary detailed project schedule based on milestones dates provided.
  • Integrate contractor provided detailed schedule into the detailed project schedule.
  • Use filters to develop reports for management (i.e "behind in progress", "look ahead" & "milestone" schedule reports)
  • Work with contractors to make sure they are providing their updates on a regular basis to be determined based on phase of the project.
  • Work with customer and Program / Project Manager to identify dependent tasks.
  • Work with project team to identify schedule interferences between contractors.
  • Issue reports as requested.
  • Prefer ability to support project team with CAD drawings as needed.

Computer Skills:

  • 2 Years in Microsoft Project. Must be proficient in developing and maintaining schedules.
  • AutoCAD experience a plus.
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel

Other Requirements:

  • US citizenship
  • Valid Driver's license
