Senior Acquisition Manager

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is a minority-owned, women-owned small business. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, D2DInc provides services to public-sector organizations in the areas of acquisition and procurement support, contract administration and closeout, development and administration of small business outreach programs, training, administrative support, and marketing communications materials. Our customers include civilian and defense federal government agencies.

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is looking for a Senior Acquisition Manager to support a government customer in Dam Neck, VA. This person will provide acquisition management support for a government customer. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties to be carried out include, but are not limited to::

• Provide daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to in the development of large acquisition packages.
• Support DoN and/or DoD contract development processes, methods and artifacts.
• Research and apply acquisition standards and guidelines to include, but not limited to; NAVSEA, Naval Warfare Center, FARs, DFARs, PGI and NMCARs.
• Support the generations of quality operational, functional, and technical requirements.
• Support requirements stakeholders across the Department by assisting with the development of clear, concise, and unambiguous requirements.
• Review and recommend corrections, if required, to all contracting documents to ensure quality, adherence to development standards and that documents align with technical requirements.
• Coordinate and attend meetings as required.
• Generate Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) for the development process, track development schedules IAW milestones, and generate status reports and briefs as directed.
• Support the development of new internal processes to streamline the acquisition process.
• Support the development of long-term acquisition strategies and plans..

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Ten (10) years of professional experience in DoD and/or DoN large acquisition management support.
• Strong background and the ability to support DoN and/or DoD contract development processes, methods and artifacts.
• Knowledge of and the ability to research and apply acquisition standards and guidelines to include, but not limited to; NAVSEA, Naval Warfare Center, FARs, DFARs, PGI and NMCARs.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with others exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times.
• Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
