Performs design and technical tasks on a range of project types and scales as part of a team. Contributes to project success through effective internal and external coordination, creative problem-solving, and diligent task completion.
An undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited planning program or masters degree or dual degrees in landscape architecture and urban design or planning. (preferred)
Proficiency in graphic communication and analysis, including programs such as Adobe Suite and SketchUp.
Proficiency in ArcGIS with examples of mapping and analysis, and proven experience with construction documentation. (preferred)
A solid technical foundation (understanding of planning law, community engagement best practices, and basic design development knowledge).
A positive attitude and open mind towards involvement on a wide range of project types.
Candidates must be self-motivated, take initiative, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and work collaboratively.
The salary for this position is $50,000-$58,000, dependent on experience. This position is benefits eligible. Benefits include comprehensive health, wealth, and well-being benefits. Ownership of the company is held in an ESOP Trust, which is funded entirely by company contributions, and all employees participate. This is designed as a long-term retirement benefit, with the employees accounts increasing as the value of the business increases.
