Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a warm and courteous greeting for customers either upon arrival at our showrooms or via phone.
  • Assist customers in selecting the most suitable appliances for their home remodeling projects.
  • Cultivate strong, personalized customer relationships by attentively understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Provide prompt and accurate sales quotes while establishing clear follow-up expectations.
  • Conduct periodic and tailored follow-up communications regarding sales quotes.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Exhibit professionalism when directing customers to subject matter experts in customer service or shipping.
  • Skillfully manage and resolve issues, employing established protocols to de-escalate situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Set accurate expectations regarding deliveries, installations, billing processes, warranty services, and product availability.
  • Collaborate with fellow sales team members and management on initiatives to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Netsuite) to comprehensively understand customer histories and log essential notes.
  • Achieve personal and team sales objectives through proactive efforts and effective teamwork.
  • Participate in training sessions aimed at enhancing sales skills and deepening product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success and managing a full book of business.; industry-specific experience is not required.
  • Ability to adhere to a retail schedule, including shifts covering one weekend day and promotion-heavy holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
  • Exceptional listening skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about the products and services we offer.
  • Previous success in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in using modern computer systems, including web browsers, email, and standard business applications.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are essential.
  • Bonus: Interest and enthusiasm for home design and current trends.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with ChatGPT technology is a plus.

Schedule

Five days a week retail schedule (one weekend day coverage required).

This role does not entail high-pressure cold calling.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
