Designscapes Colorado, Inc., celebrating over 30 years in business, is an established landscape company in Centennial, CO specializing in the design and installation of award-winning detailed landscapes and outdoor environments. We are seeking individuals to join our group who are passionate about landscaping and enjoy being part of a team. A positive attitude, leadership abilities and excellent communication skills are a must. This is a great opportunity for a Residential Landscape Designer.

Responsibilities
Design/Sales/Business Development
Meet with clients, design landscape plans and render, create estimates and sell the design and services to clients.
Build relationships and promote sales for the company.
Project Management
Manage/oversee projects to ensure client satisfaction; meets with subcontractors at job site, meet with clients at various vendors to select materials to be incorporated into design work.
Prepare change orders with Project Manager.
Coordinate subcontractor management with Project Manager.
Communicate with Team Manager on new subcontractors.
Communicate with project manager on the schedule jobs, materials ordering and final project walk thru.
Invoicing/Collections
Upon job completion, ensure all billable time and materials are included in final billing.
Meet with client to discuss and collect payment. Follow up is typically required.
Warranty Work
Respond to client concerns regarding plant or product failure.
Coordinate replacement with Project Manager and Foreman.
Maintenance Support
Design annuals, bulbs and holiday lighting to ensure year-round client satisfaction.
Training
Attend various training seminars on current trends, products, etc.
Provide training to Project Manager and Foreman.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Design and Contracting.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience designing and selling highly detailed residential projects.
Must have valid driver's license and a clean MVR.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Creative design aesthetic.
Excellent sales skills with proven sales experience.
Understanding of construction process and best practices.
Project estimation.
Client management.
Project construction supervision.
Knowledge of Colorado plant material and annuals (preferred).
Hand rendering and hand drawing.
