Manager Security

Supervise subordinates in accordance with DeSimone Gaming policies and procedures, while constantly using consistent and tactful judgement. Responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members, while protecting company assets. To assist with actions of the Security Offices and implementing mandates in accordance with the directives of the P&P manual. Follow and comply with Company and State Regulations.

• Planning and organizing security activities.
• Determine personnel requirements and establish organizational structure for security.
• Plan and schedule workloads and establish performance standards.
• Provide efficient patrolling of the premises, maintain the desired public order, provide comfort and safety to guests and team members, and protect the best interest of DeSimone Gaming.
• Inspect and evaluate all security activities to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Plan and establish a functional on-the0job training program for Security and evaluate the effectiveness of the training by observation of work performance and written or oral tests.
• Establish and maintain a working relationship with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
• Establish and maintain a solid working relationship with executives and departments heads within the company.
• Personally, supervise the processing and distribution of all incidents, injury, theft, and accident reports to management each day.
• Appear in court trials and hearing representing DeSimone Gaming Security Department in actions involving security incidents.
• Attending Unemployment Compensations hearings when a termination involves a security incident.
• Work closely with insurance adjusters in the handling and processing of all insurance claims where security reports are involved.
• Maintain pictures and arrest records of known criminals and gaming cheats.
• Ensure that proper provisions are made for the security of cash funds transported, both on and off property.
• Establish and direct procedures used handling employees on the job injuries, and ensures such incidents are reported to the appropriate agencies.
• Direct the hiring, disciplinary counseling and termination of the employment and all promotions within the Security Department.
• Ensure employees are treated fairly and all policies and procedures are followed.
• Prepare regular and special reports and maintain the necessary records and files for the Security Department.
• Must assist guests in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security, or senior crew members.
• Assure exceptional customer service to all guests by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
