Parts Associate

DeSoto Honda dealership located in Olive Branch, Ms. We are open Tuesday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays we are open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays!

We are looking for a highly-motivated, enthusiastic, experienced,full-time parts & accessories associate to join our team!

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Look up parts and quote prices for parts using proper catalogs

· Utilize dealer management tools, such as Lightspeed, Parts Finder, Accessory Smart etc

· Must pay attention to detail and quickly learn about a variety of parts

· Greet all customers and help them out as necessary; overall providing professional superior customer service.

· Ensure customers are kept informed by providing realistic estimated wait times for special ordered or back ordered items as well as by providing regular status updates on their orders

· Handle customer complaints with reason, a positive attitude, and a commitment to make things right

· Handle and process telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.

· Upsell additional products and/or packages; good general knowledge of merchandise and parts

· Work well with fellow employees and other departments to achieve team goals and work with department manager to maintain accurate inventory

· Keep all merchandise and displays clean, dusted, stocked, and front facing.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

· Must have prior experience and knowledge of Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVS, and Watercraft

· Experience with Point-of-Sale and computerized inventory systems and the ability to quickly learn new software systems

· Computer literate and able to navigate basic systems.

· Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

· Ability to be on time everyday and maintain uniform expectations.

· Work well with other parts associates and team members.

· Maintain an organized, tidy and clean work area.

· Strong customer service and communication skills.

· Strong selling and closing skills.

· Experience with Lightspeed is a PLUS.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
