We emphasize family dentistry - that means we’re ready to take care of your toddler’s first appointment as well as educating your parents about the advantages of dentures. Having the whole family at our office means our patients can get the same great service from pediatric dentistry through adulthood. We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team.
We are a high tech office utilizing cad/cam equipment (Cerec), hard and soft tissue lasers, 3 D printing and 3D X-rays.
- Dental Assistant - Primary Job Duties
- Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare
- materials, or assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Expose dental diagnostic x-rays.
- Take intra & extra-oral pictures.
- Record treatment information in patient records.
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
- Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies.
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
- Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments and collect payments.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) is required.
- NYS Licensed.
- Experience required and computer skills needed.

License/Certification:
