PURCHASING DIRECTOR

As a member of the properties Leadership Committee, the Area Director of Food and Beverage is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership. This position reports to the hotel's Area Managing Director.

The Purchasing Director is responsible for overseeing the purchasing function for two resort properties.

This is a salaried position with an annual salary ranging from $66,100 - $95,700

• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
• Prior Director experience, Resort experience, Independent hotel, Resort Lifestyle experience is preferred
• Prior experience management experience.
• Experience working with a third-party vendor
• Experience of 4 years in similar role
• With opening hotels, previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
• Experience working through complex logistics
• Experience in building teams
• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
• Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
