Destination Pet is looking for a Dog Groomer to help with the influx of dogs at Lone Star Pet Lodges.
Destination Pet was founded in 2016 and has grown nationwide. Our mission is to buy struggling businesses or businesses that are looking for a buy-out. Our goal is making it a one stop shop with a family environment touch that includes daycare, boarding, training, grooming, and veterinary care. If we cannot fit, it into one location then we buy up other locations in the surrounding area creating what we call a “hub.” We own about 100 locations and are growing to 500 come 2025. None of the locations have our name so it stays within the community. The Grooming department is run solely by experienced groomers.

What is required of our employees?
- Professional experience safely grooming pets (required).
- A great attitude!
- MUST LOVE DOGS - We have a lot of them!
- Availability to choose your own schedule!
What about the pay?
You have the choice to choose commission or an hourly rate for 60 days
- 50% commission or 40% commission if you are working with a bather thus allowing you to do more dogs and make more money. 30% on basic bath (Usually the kennel staff does these, but sometimes they need help)
- Or will receive an hourly wage for 60 days. That way the transition is much easier for you!
Salary : $50,000 - $80,000
