Responsibilities:
- Install new plumbing systems and fixtures according to codes and specifications.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and system malfunctions.
- Modify existing plumbing systems to accommodate new fixtures or changes in building layout.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to service calls, perform troubleshooting, and ensure customer satisfaction with repairs and installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment, up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs.].
- Adept at using hand and power tools for extended periods.
- Capability to work in various physical conditions, including confined spaces and at elevated heights.
- Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for prolonged periods.
- Capability to maneuver around job sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Good vision for accurate measurements and assessments, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Minimum of four years as a journey-level Plumber or four years as an apprentice or helper.
- Must provide a completed and signed "Journey-Level Plumber Certification of Work Experience" form.
- Valid plumbing license certificate with a photo.
- One current full-face passport-sized photograph (2"x2").
- Proficiency in plumbing installation, repair, alteration, addition, and servicing of plumbing systems.
