What You'll Be Doing:
The SharePoint developers are responsible for developing and maintaining tools for knowledge management using Microsoft SharePoint. This includes designing, building and developing workflows as required by our federal client and facilitating the training for the knowledge management staff as required. This role also participates in special projects as required and will interface and consult with other federal stakeholders in regards to SharePoint issues and concerns as it impacts task completion. The current environment has 1 site collection, with approximately 63 subsites. O365 SharePoint sites are currently under development.
Daily activities include but are not limited to:
- Providing Microsoft SharePoint designer services to support the requirements gathering, development and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint portals/dashboards (end user interfaces) for the SharePoint collaborative/electronic document management system
- Gathering requirements and design the user screens for use of the Microsoft SharePoint collaborative tool/electronic document management system
- Collaborate with the web developers and program/project offices and divisions when necessary regarding the creation of documentation for systems and assist programmers and engineers in developing on-line documentation
- Designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint portals and document libraries and designing and developing user interface features and support the organization’s goals and strategies for knowledge management
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- A Bachelors Degree and 5 years of related SharePoint development experience is required
- Must have strong knowledge and hands on ability with SharePoint 2016, SP Designer, browser, InfoPath, and VS Code
- Experience working in agile project environments
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members, diverse professional staff, and reviewers to meet deadlines and produce high quality work products in accordance with in-house and client requirements
- Ability to provide exceptional oral, written, and open communications to client, team, and stakeholders
- Ability to provide timely, efficient, and effective communication
REMOTE POSITIONS AND POSITIONS LISTED FOR MD, NJ, and CO: Our estimated salary range for this position is $72,000 - 107,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
