Residential Habilitation Services Supervisor

Developmental Options is a private non-profit company serving the Pocatello area. This position works in the Residential Habilitation side of the company. Work Type:

This position is a 40-hour per week exempt position with typical work hours Monday-Friday 8a-5p reporting directly to the Executive Director. The Services Supervisor is expected to occasionally work outside normal business hours in order to complete regular observations in the client’s homes/apartments as well as be available to respond to any critical and emergent needs. Individuals interested should have strong time management and leadership skills. The Services Supervisor is the direct supervisor for the CST Manager and also supports the CST Manager in supervision of the direct support staff. Expected caseload is 10-15 clients.

Wage:

Salary range for this position is between $49,920 and $59,920; final salary determination will be based on experience.

Job Duties:

·         Coordinate day-to-day operation of Residential Habilitation Services

·         Assists the CST Manager with direct support staff management.

·         Responsible for reviewing all participant data and documentation, fire drills, logs, etc.

·         Responsible for supervising and directing CST Manager

·         Work cooperatively with other professionals within and outside of the corporation, ie Executive Director, Corporate Trainer, HR Manager, TSC’s, medical professionals, etc.

·         Count, records, and reviews participant program data as required per state rule and completes provider status reviews monthly on each participant on assigned caseload

·         Develops new referrals by working with regional and state Targeted Service Coordinators and contacting state operated facilities.

Qualifications:

·         Must meet Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Bureau of Medical Assistance, and Developmental Options requirements.

·         Must be 21 years of age and have a valid Idaho driver’s license with a clean driving record to qualify as a company driver.

·         Must pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening.

·         Must have a minimum of one-year full-time experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities preferably in a Residential Habilitation setting.

Education:

·         Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education, early childhood special education, speech and language pathology, applied behavioral analysis, psychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work, or therapeutic recreation, or possess Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an area not previously listed, but who has completed a competency course approved by Idaho Department of Health & Welfare.
