The Firm is dedicated to client service. This extends to every aspect of our relationship with clients.
Based out of our Manchester, NH office the Accounts Payable & Escrow Specialist processes firm and escrow disbursement transactions.
Specific Responsibilities:
Match invoices/receipts/vouchers to supporting documentation
Reject invoices or requests that have incorrect completion and/or inadequate backup
Obtain W-9 forms at the time checks are requested
General ledger account coding
Entering payment information into the software system
Document relevant detail when entering expenses
Ensure proper approvals are obtained for payments
Ensure adequate backup is scanned in for all expenses and deposits/transfers
Process, distribute and/or mail checks
Follow up on outstanding checks
Process escrow check requests and deposits
Expense reimbursements
Process wire transactions
Filing of unclaimed property returns
Prepare annual Forms 1099 to vendors and file with IRS
Research expense related items as requested
Serve as backup to payroll
General and other office duties as requested

Requirements
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Associates Degree in Accounting or 3 years comparable experience specifically in an Accounts Payable role
Proficient with 10-key for data entry with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook
