Dewberry is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our Mechanical Department in our Peoria, IL office for Summer 2024. Responsibilities

• Entry level CAD drafting
• Support senior Engineers and Designers in assembling construction document packages
• Support senior engineers and designers by assisting with mechanical calculations, including Heat gain/loss calculations and energy conservation analysis
• Support senior engineers and designers by assisting with piping hydraulic calculations for heating and cooling systems
• Drafting of air conditioning ductwork and piping

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Mechanical engineering
• Basic course load in mechanical engineering required
• Required skills and software. CAD/REVIT, Excel, Word.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
