Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the sales and business development functions, specifically filling product demo requests for all regions in the USA and Canada. This position requires strong attention to detail and processes coupled with a technical background to enable a quick and thorough understanding of DEWESoft products, how they work, and how they add value to prospective customers’ testing needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Always project a favorable image of DEWESoft, its products, and its employees to our customers
- Instill in our customers a sense of confidence in our abilities to meet their needs.
- Maintain and support sales with all product demo needs.
- Collecting, issuing, and delivering product demo requests to the customer in a timely manner.
- Daily contact with Outside Sales to assist with the sales process involving product demos.
- Tracking all product demo equipment.
- Tagging new product demo inventory.
- Maintaining product demo equipment in conjunction with our Service Department.
- Continue to develop knowledge of the industries assigned and the applications for our products.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Dedicated and passionate about getting the job done, while staying calm and positive.
- A good technical understanding of instrumentation, electrical measurements and sensors would be preferred.
- CRM database experience (Method) preferred.
- Experience in the Engineering, Technology, Industrial and/or Manufacturing industries preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Persuasive communication style, strategic thinking and organization skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, charisma, ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Must be able to work independently and be highly motivated.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
