Job Title: Entry Level Electrical/Mechanical Testing Technician (Full Time – On-site)

Job Summary

Description: Assist in production-level testing of AC and DC generators ranging from 1kW to 5kW, assembly and testing of hydraulic pump assemblies, and perform quality checks on various controller/ component level equipment. Ensure equipment is in calibration, inspection steps are performed, and test procedures are followed. Set up and monitor test equipment and record data for engineering and production use. Training will be provided in various aspects of the job, but basic knowledge of common tools is arequirement of the job (sockets, wrenches, multimeter, etc.). Assist in projects to continuously improve the quality of the final product.

Education

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Technical School equivalent a plus

  • Basic knowledge of Electronics and Electrical Safety

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must practice proper tool/workspace organization
  • Good understanding of hand tools
  • Basic soldering skills a plus
  • Ability to read detailed circuit designs and schematics a plus
  • Good communication skills to ensure team members are up to date on day-to-day tasks
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace and can multi-task throughout the day
  • Ability to work independently for periods of time
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to accurately document test data and follow written procedures

Other

  • Some lifting required
  • Must be willing to occasionally work outdoors when testing generators

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
